Hobbies: Where do I start? I’m obsessed with Persian poetry; 😊I could read it all day, especially with a warm cup of tea. I love snuggling with my cat (she’s basically my therapist), cooking for family and friends (seeing them enjoy my food makes me feel like I’m on clouds), and I bake a mean baklava, it’s my signature!😌
I also love gardening, or let’s say I try to grow herbs and veggies on my balcony and get overly excited when anything actually grows. I’m big on discovering cozy, hidden cafés in every city I visit, where I can sit by the window, sip a latte, and get lost in a book. Oh, and online window shopping? Totally my sport. I don’t always buy, but I always browse.
When I’m not doing any of that, you’ll probably find me watching psychological thrillers that mess with your mind (the more twisted, the better).😬
Why Genesys? From the very first moment of my interview, I felt a strong sense of belonging. Even though the time was short, the way the program director, faculty, and residents interacted with me felt incredibly genuine and warm. I left the interview thinking, “These are my people.”
Everything I heard from others who rotated there confirmed what I felt: this is a supportive and inspiring team. The program’s dedication to community care, strong clinical training, and hands-on learning sealed the deal for me. I feel incredibly lucky that my path led me to Genesys, and I can’t wait to grow alongside such an amazing group.
