Why Genesys? During my interview, I gained a clear understanding of what the program entails. My top priority in residency training is to work with mentors who not only guide me in becoming a competent physician but also inspire me to grow into a compassionate and exceptional healer. I ultimately set my sights on Genesys after speaking with Dr. Rogers and the current interns—their openness, authenticity, and willingness to connect on a personal level made me feel at ease. It was a rare and genuine environment where I felt comfortable sharing my thoughts and vulnerabilities, which affirmed that this is the kind of community I want to be a part of.
