Why Genesys? “I had the opportunity to rotate here as a visiting medical student. I was very impressed by the hospital and the program. The residents were extremely welcoming and seemed to genuinely enjoy having students with them to teach. The attendings were very patient and great to work with. I left the away rotation with the firm belief that the family medicine program at Genesys would provide me with a nonthreatening learning environment with opportunities for educational and personal growth, the ability to establish professional relationships with a diverse group of lifelong learners, and the experience of practicing in an underserved community.”
